This month the Young Learners have been learning about many exciting things! In Science, as part of our Dinosaur unit, we have learnt about the ferocious Tyrannosaurus Rex and the other creatures that roamed the Earth many years ago. We even watched a Dinosaur movie that taught us about the main three theories behind the extinction of Dinosaurs! Our SOSE studies have been lots of fun because we have been studying various Australian sports and our project was to create a new dance or invent a new sport! We are also doing a masked performance and we had to make our own masks. Early in the month our class was fortunate enough to go to ‘The Broadwater’. We went for a swim in the netted swimming area, had a yummy barbeque and then played on all of the awesome play equipment. We didn’t want to leave! After having this much fun in April, I can’t wait to see what’s planned for May!
