This course is designed to be the first part of the Diploma of Children’s Services or to stand alone as a Certificate qualification. The course duration is 24 weeks inclusive of 240 hours practicum. This qualification gives you career options as an Assistant in a Child Care Centre or Family Day Care Provider. After graduation you may opt to return to complete a higher qualification to enable you to adopt more responsibility as a leader/coordinator in a child care context.

(pre-requisite - Certificate III in Children's Services)

This further qualification enables you to explore your potential as a leader in the early childhood context. The course duration is 40 weeks inclusive of up to 240 hours of practicum. If you already have a Certificate III in Children's Services, you may wish to upgrade to this Diploma. On completion this course you may wish to seek employment as a Qualified Group Leader or Family Day Care Coordinator, or elect to continue on to the Advanced Diploma of Children’s Services, or a University degree in Education or Community Services.

(pre-requisite - Diploma of Children's Services)Early Learning Centre

The Advanced Diploma is specifically designed for early childhood professionals who wish to further advance their leadership options in childcare or related professions. The course duration is 40 weeks inclusive of 240 hours of practicum, and 3 weeks holiday. This course satisfies all study requirements for a student wishing to be a Director in a child care centre with up to 75 places. It has been developed by our academic staff in consultation with child care industry professionals and management and as such addresses all facets of child care, education, development and management.
