Competencies gained as a result of undertaking this course will give the student a firm grounding in all aspects of hospitality, assisting them to enter the industry in a supervisory role. Students will be able to manage front line services, plan and control a range of operations, manage financial operations, maintain business compliance within legislative requirements and market effectively to customers. Graduates will also have the skills required to effectively lead, supervise and manage teams of people.

Uniforms
All students will be provided with the relevant uniform(s) including shoes for their area of study and will be expected to wear the appropriate uniform at all times. Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) students will be provided with a practical uniform.
All students will be issued with the relevant practical equipment for their course.
In the case of a Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) students will purchase a Chef’s Kit which will include all the kitchen equipment and learning aids required to complete their qualification.
