Imagine Education Welcomes Nagoya College Students

22 May 18

We would like to extend a very warm welcome to our 10th inaugural group of students from our sister school, Nagoya College, who arrived on the sunny Gold Coast early on the morning of 21 May 2018.

The students were welcomed at Coolangatta Airport by Imagine Education’s Marketing Support Officer, Motoko Nairn and our Marketing and Communications Coordinator, Clementine Cassidy. Misaki Asano, a former Nagoya College student who studied with Imagine Education during the 3rd inaugural year, also met the new students.

This is the tenth year we have hosted the Japanese students at Imagine Education. The students will study 15 weeks of General English at Imagine’s Brisbane Campus and Southport Central Campus, before beginning their Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care course with Imagine.

The students were driven from the airport to their new campuses, with five of the students studying their General English course at our Brisbane Campus, and nine of the student completing their General English studies at our Southport Central Campus.

All of the students enjoyed their first day and got to know their new campuses, teachers, and key staff. An orientation and tour of the area surrounding their campus helped them to feel comfortable in their new environment, and the day concluded with a meet and greet with their new homestay families.

We are honoured to host the students from Nagoya College and we look forward to spending the next eleven months with them.
