Graduation Ceremonies

Graduation Ceremonies

Each Friday, Imagine Education holds a graduation ceremony for all our departing students. The graduation ceremony is a time for students to get together and say goodbye to their new found friends from around the world. Each student is presented with an Imagine Education certificate and given a warm goodbye speech by their teachers. The students are then encouraged to practice their English by giving a farewell speech to their teachers and friends.

Counselling Service

Imagine Education provides student counselling services to all our students. Annie Richmond our qualified student counsellor visits the school and students can make appointments to receive career or personal counselling sessions.

Student Activities

At Imagine Education, excursions form an important part of your course. We offer an exciting range of activities each Friday afternoon, most of which are free to students!

Weekly activities - General English and IELTS

Each week, students participate in activities that are designed to help students practice their English in a social setting.

Every Friday students have three options for activities: sport, grammar club or job club. A wide range of sports are arranged each week and students always have fun strutting their stuff on the field and proving their athletic ability!

Grammar Club gives those students that want to focus on their English improvement the opportunity to work with a teacher on any problems they may be having. Whether it be spelling, sentence construction or simply improving their vocabulary, the teacher will help students with whatever they need.

Imagine Education understands that some students may want to work part-time while they study. To assist students in finding work Imagine Education offers Job Club every Friday. This club offers the students a designated staff member to help them with all aspects of applying for part time work. Whether it be writing resumes and cover letters or searching for jobs in the newspaper or online, we are here to assist students any way we can.

Excursions

Every 5 and 10 weeks, Imagine Education takes students on an all-day excursion to various exotic locations in and around the Gold Coast. These excursions are for all General English and IELTS classes. These excursions are designed to show Imagine Education students more of Australia’s beautiful scenery and wildlife. There is usually a small cost involved for students wanting to attend these excursions.

Some of the exotic locations we visit include: Byron Bay, Mount Tambourine and the Brisbane Art Gallery and Museum.

Festivals

Every two months, Imagine Education holds a the "Imagine Festival" for staff and students. The festivals are a great way for students and staff to get to know each other socially out of class. Imagine Education provides competitions and prizes as well as food, FREE for all Imagine Education students.

Weekly activities - Young Learners and High School Preparation

Every Wednesday afternoon is activity time for our Young Learners and High School students! Students can participate in a variety of activities such as sport, excursions and trips to the beach.
