Barista Course

After English class finishes, have a break and go to Barista training cafe (3 mins away from Imagine Central Campus) on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 3pm until 5pm
Barista: 1:1 (or 1:2) personalised training by barista
Week 1; basic skills, maintenance barista machine etc
Week 2: latte art, how to become a barista tips
Practice: Self practice time, unlimited milk and coffee beans provided
Internship: Unpaid internship at the cafe, get real experience, receive reference letter after completion

Demipair Program
What is Demipair?
A Demi Pair is a part time Au Pair. In the Demi Pair Program students live with a local family; providing housework and childcare duties in exchange for meals and board

Demipair benefits:

- Blue card (paid version) included (unique to Imagine demipair)
To become a Demipair:
- Enrol in the Imagine Demipair package (Imagine BNE campus or GC campus for at least 12 weeks)
- Be between 18 years old ~ 35 years old
- Be willing to commit to working 15 hours per week in exchange for room and board
- Commit to staying with the demipair family for a minimum of 12 weeks (as per the contract)
- Pass the demipair interview via WhatsApp or LINE (minimum pre-intermediate level)
Demipair Package Process
1 When filling in the Imagine Education Application Form select "Demipair English Program" under ELICOS Courses, as well selcting your preferred English course.

2 Once the application is received by admissions, the student will receive the Demipair Application Form by email.
​
3 Once the Demipair application From has been completed and returned, the Demipair agency will be contacted and an online interview will be arranged with the student directly.
​
4 After the interview. the agent will receive feedback about how it went. If the student passed; a Letter of Offer will be issued and the tuition fee will be requested. If the student did not pass the interview; they will have the option to change to a different program or request another interview.
5 Tuition fees paid by student and documents submitted such as; a self-introduction, a signed agreement form, a character check form etc.

6 Once all documents and payments are received, the student will receive their host family details. Some families may want to speak with the student before the final confirmation.
​
7 After confirmation of the placement, the student books flights and travel insurance.
​
8 On the day of arrival, the student will take the airport pickup service (arranged by Imagine) to the Demipair house.
​
9 On the first day of their course, the student must go to TMR to create a CRN, and then apply for their Bluecard.
Bonus Classes
What are our Bonus Classes?
We provide students with the option to continue their learning after class with extra bonus classes.
These classes give students the opportunity to improve on areas they may find difficult, prepare for IELTS or further courses, or simple get the most out of their learning experience.​

Classes include; Grammar Practice, Writing, IELTS Skills Practice, English for VET studies, Discussion and Debate.
